I watched this webcast and recommend it. It has a lot of interesting background information about Pixar and the creative process there. The background information sets the stage for the not long enough portion of the webinar that discusses fonts. Fonts are discussed in their creative aspects, but also in the management and compliance aspects also.

An enjoyable webcast. Wish I could have attended it in person and asked a few questions.

CDPUG past president’s South American Mac Trek

Judith Majher and her husband, Ed, traveled to Buenos Aires in January to be part of the MacMania 11 experience with Apple luminaries, Steve Wozniak, co founder of Apple, his wife, Janet, podcaster Don McAllister of screencastsonline, his wife Barbara, plus 100+ attendees from around the world. Mac devotees and experts came together in South America to learn/share topics all about everything Apple. The seminars were aboard the Holland American Veendam and included 60 iPhone Apps in 60 Minutes, The New World of Social Media, Become a Backup Ninja, LaunchBar MasterClass, Apple Apps from A to Z and a whole lot more.

Many MacManians arrived early before the trip to travel to the Iguazu Falls, one of the worlds most impressive natural wonders near the rainforest in Brazil. It was an incredible hiking, learning, networking, dining and yes, dancing sojourn. The action packed adventure started in Argentina where they sailed to the the Falkland Islands, crossing the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans and then around the Horn, through the Beagle Chanel, the Patagonia (some of the most remote areas in the world) and ended in Chile. Attendees Sandy and Steve Dvorsky with Theresa Mazich and Neil Bauman from Insight Cruises created this video clip. You may want to check it out. (Judith is one of the wet ones.)
